Heritage
We were founded in the year 2000 with our first specialist brand: InsideJapan. Our original concept wasn't based around traditional tourism but giving people a two-week trip to ‘get beneath the surface’ of Japanese life.
We did this by showcasing local culture and packing in as many of the fun experiences our founders had when they lived and worked in Japan. In 2000, this style of travel didn’t have a label. Today it is called ‘experiential tourism’. We call it ‘cultural adventure’ – and this is the spirit that runs through everything we do.
From a two person start-up in a spare bedroom, we've grown a global presence with sales offices in the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia. Our Asia operations office is in Nagoya, Japan.
